If you specify parts that flow through stamping → CNC → finishing (or forging → machining → assembly), push for a single supplier. It doesn’t just save time. It saves the kind of money that doesn’t show up on a quote—rework, expediting, inspection overhead, and delayed revenue.

Process integration is a competitive advantage, not a convenience. And frankly, the OEMs that push back on single-source clauses often end up approving them after the first batch fails at receiving.
